The connection point is indicated in the technical plant by a triangle. This plant can be downloaded from the reserved area of the exhibitor portal (not on befair).

In every hall, except for hall  28-29-MALL-30-37, the connection is made through junction boxes with terminal board that are located under the tunnel. Therefore, you will have to bring a bare cable with you. In hall 28-29-MALL-30-37 there are draw pits with 32A plugs which are available for every stand.

Bolognafiere doesn't provide the cable, which has to be brought with your own electrical panel.

It's required to bring a cable with a minimum diameter of 6 mm.

It's also recommended to always bring a 15/20 meters long cable.

You can rent switchboxes (the cable is already included) on Befair.  It is not possible to rent switchboxes or cables separately. Into the fairground there is no area where you can buy these materials.

If you bring your own switchboard, you will need to:

Deliver the documentation for the electrical system to the fire prevention office (Service center,- Ground floor, between block A and block B). The mandatory documents are the Chamber of Commerce certificate of the company installing the system and a declaration of conformity (form B2). [ONLY FOR ITALIAN COMPANIES] .

If the company installing the switchboard is not italian, it will be necessary buy the "verification of compliance" service.

Go to the electrical system services office (Service Center, 1st floor, wing D) to request the activation of service: it will be asked to tell the fitting company, the number of switchboxes to connect and the total amount of kilowatts and, only for 28-29-30-37 halls, the socket number (which is indicated on the cable itself, with "QP..." or "QMALL...").

During the fair days the power is always on: the stand builder will have to provide for two lines/switches on the box so that the lights can be turned off in the night, while the 24h line remains on

You should request it on Befair: this shall be equal to the TOTAL amount of kilowatts you need. You can select ONLY ONE range of kilowatts for each stand.

Every switchbox in your stand will match with a connection. The connection of first box is already included, while you have to request an extra connection for every additional switchbox, selecting the service "extra connection to the electrical network in the hall".

This service is a switchbox certification that is needed whether the electrical box is installed by a non-Italian company.

If you rent an electrical box on Befair, it will not be necessary buy the verification of compliance.

You should go to the Service center (wing D, first floor) to ask for the passwords. It is a 5GHZ Wifi Network.

In halls 14/15/16/18/28/29/30/37, it will be provided the cable to connect to the switches. In the other halls the router will be delivered by the staff during the final set-up stages.

If you need the compressed air on your stand, the service you must purchase is the corresponding "air intake socket", which includes the installation of the pipework in the required diameter.

The connection includes the supply and installation of pipes, pneumatic reductions from the activation point to the machine. Otherwise you should bring the pipes needed to reach the point of connection and your staff will take care of it. 

It is necessary to rent the water intake socket which includes water inlet, outlet and water consumption.  It includes the first connection of the device to the water pipes. 

If you have more than one device or sink and if they are near each other you have to buy the "additional connection" service . Otherwise it will be necessary to book another water intake socket.
